For me that has to be something involving speed acceleration and adventure….. Like a roller coaster ride, a ride on a motorcycle, taking off on an aeroplane……. Whilst these things aren't necessarily what excite everyone, these things I love, it's part of my personality and I inherently enjoy doing adventurous things.

Close your eyes and think for one moment what is the one thing that you absolutely love to do? No-one has to pay you for it, no-one needs to ask you to do it….it lights you up, makes you feel alive, excites you…. and if you could do it right now you would do it without question…you love it THAT much?

Doing this with your dog for 15 minutes, is more effective than an all day hike or rollerblading, etc.. This will relax the mind and get it closer to being mentally balanced faster than anything.

Many thanks, I have been researching "basic dog behavior training" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across – Jaydenley Doggy Dechlorination – (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my neighbour got excellent results with it.

Trying to gain as much information as possible because I'm going to be getting a Staffordshire bull terrior in the near future and I'm going to be training exactly how you are. Would love to get some feedback from you when I have some questions.

When I first came across these videos, Larry came across as a typical loud mouth American who assumed that he knew it all. But his videos are impressive – so many of them are obviously genuine unstaged sessions with dogs at all stages of their training, and his results speak for themselves.

I’ve noticed from watching other dog training videos that some trainers keep the dog in place for hours and have the dog do nothing and this is suppose to be impressive. I am not quite sure why this technique is used and is apparent admired. I guess it is to represent that you have control over your animal.

I know you have said that you don't like trading a treat for what's in the dogs mouth on the "drop" command. So how do you teach drop?

My 7 month old GSD knows the basics: look at me, sit, down, come, quiet, place, heel….however she does not always come and she certainly doesn't come anywhere close to how quickly this dog obeys. How do I get this kind of very quick obedience?
