This is part 1 of the down and stay video episode 7. I’m taking the 2 puppies I have currently and going thru my normal routine to hopefully build them into some serious working machines by day, and sweet cuddle bugs by night. I have been very busy with all kinds of things going on other then my dogs, but i am trying to show the motions to go from puppy to bulletproof machine. I am using Atlas the boy and Siren the girl. I also will probably be adding in some or my protection dogs in here and there and some other breeds as a bonus.

Pitbulls are such smart creatures! All they want is to please their handlers.

Ginger my bully boxer was a sure fail adoption. One thing I do not tolerate in life is failure. When I got her four months ago they handed me a half inch thick folder. At home that night we both slept on the bathroom floor because she was to scared to be anywhere else. It took me hours to read the file. Ironically it was all on the command "sit". She now knows commands in three processes, silent signal gestures(eye contact, hand gesture and foot stomp), silent whistle and verbal commands. She sits, lays, heals, recalls and leave it's. Still I felt I was failing her. I need her to become my PTSD service dog. After getting hooked on you, I now feel confident that our progress is great and very capable of meeting our goals. She was two when I rescued her and was the longest dog resident at the shelter (one year nine months). She was scared and seemed violent. I used my happy love to train her to respond better. I am now subscribed to your channel. Her energy made me feel like I could never get her to train, so now we walk five miles every day… tomorrow I'm going to make that pole thing for at home exercise. PLEASE let me know if you have any other tricks on exerting her energy without having to be a mountain lion myself. I'm going into surgery soon and am concerned with her mental health if she can't exert that energy. I bought mind game toys she seems to absolutely love, but I'm still worried. I will be down for at least four weeks and have no friends family or money to get a dog walker. I have two weeks left to learn, build and prepare her massive energy needs to become confined to a 30 square foot yard, and one bedroom home. Pretty much, on her own. HELP!!!! PLEASE :'(

I wish I could get my puppy, 8mths old, to relax when eating and not guarding, eating so fast thinking someone is going to take it.. I've tried everything I can think of.. Even if I'm standing over him when eating, after training enough to get him to stop snapping and growling, he's tense, tail between the legs but, I've stopped him from growling so far..

I feed my dog a raw diet, always have, always will! I just cannot find anyone to help me because Blu is an Amstaff they say its his breed… NO IT ISN'T!! He is friendly, I've taught him "surprise" grabs from kids, he doesn't nip he lays and licks them. The walk his horrible too! He pulls EVERYWHERE… I've had 9 pits and I've NEVER EVER had this issue before. I do know he was abused by the previous owners, but you wouldn't know it how I've trained him. No aggression, just the food resource guarding.. They starved him if that helps…

Just found this channel after getting a 8 week old pit! I’m having the worst time even potty training him, but I’ve just kind of figured he’s too young to really be able to train him. He’s starting to get the hang of it but it’s still a problem. How old should they be to train them with potty training or even this kind of obedience? And the proper way to stop him from chewing on things he isn’t supposed to? ( mostly cords )
Love this channel! Super helpful! ?

I need a dog. Seems like dogs are soothing and you have to be controlled when dealing with them. I haven't had a dog in over a decade but dogs listen to me well. I deliver pizza so it's very helpful lol?

I noticed that before giving the dogs the treat, you put it in your mouth first. Why is that? To soften it or to give it your smell (alpha thing)?
