I have team book and used it to train my basset. I have had hounds all my life since birth. My first hound (8) was a Blue Tic (SAM) from there I have had Red Bone, Black and Tan, and Basset. Most people think that hounds are lazy and stupid thats so far from the truth. They are a fearless as any dog and just as smart as the rest. I used an E Collar on my Basset (Abby) never used the shock all I needed was the vibrate. I deduced that from placing it on my neck at 100% and pushed the trigger. Holy fuck I almost shit my pants. Vibrate worked great. I do feel I trained the social out of this Basset. She just tolerates my wife and the her dog. She hates all other humans does not bite but I feel she might. She is a great ADT alarm. She growls are barks I pay attention fast. Before you use it, use it on yourself. When she is out and barking at whatever in the daytime usually a bear or other dogs. I can walk out with the controller and she has no E collar on and say STOP and flash the controller back home she comes. It is a great device. Buy a good one.
