If my dogs didn't get so excited and bark and wag their tails when we come home we would be worried. It is not anxiety, it's happiness that we are home. That's the best part about us returning home, the excitement from our beloved dogs. They then know that the pack is all together and all is good in the world.

You could train your dog when you take him or her out for a walk and see how your family and your friends amaze at how fantastic your pet is.

It is not common sense. Most people pet dogs and give them affection when they are most excited.

Good tips, but what about when they are out in the backyard and they bark at everyone that walks by the house? How do I get them to stop getting excited then?
