What is this Baby's First Dog Training session? Is there crack in those treats? Did you not FEED the dog for days PRIOR to this so its completely unhinged from hunger and near chomping off the hand feeding it for the first time? Of course its going to follow the fucking hand around, poor thing is STARVING.

This is as much dog training as holding a screaming newborn over a plastic bin and calling it diaper weening.

For everyone who thinks they know better how to train a dog.. I have one question.. What if they have just started doing obidience? hu? You think that young adult dog could train without treats and do some excelent obidience? .. No. When you start train adult dog, you train it like it as huge puppy. This dog actually is very active towards trainer, happy and joyfull, nice driven. Not shockcollar and pinchcollar around his neck, just treats and fun. I would like to see how YOUR dogs are doing obidience 😉 I bet I could find thing or two what is wrong there

Whew that dog is hyper! I've grown up around them and the one's I've had as an adult are way more calm. I kind of think you are giving treats too often which is causing it because it thinks it should get one every few seconds. Hope it works out though.

our dogs are cued to our knees, legs and feet.
"heal" my right knee leads, "stay" i lead with my right foot…
we use treats to reinforce and still gave treats much less.

i'll always carry treats in my pockets. always. call it extra insurance.

all great if you the dog has a high food drive.. I don't believe in food reward training.. assurance is way better and it keeps the focus on the surroundings not just the trainer…Dog needs to be alert..
